jakoblodwick:

Greetings from San Francisco! I’m here for one week to relax and to spend time with family and friends. I’m spending my days at Bleacher Report, my cousin Bryan’s web startup.

After taking a breather, I’m ready to return to blogging. As an experiment, I will maintain three separate blogs (easy with Tumblr):

Jakob Lodwick.com
I will continue to post announcements, pictures of myself, and information about my music company, Normative, to this website. I will no longer post much private information — I have learned my lesson. Private information, by its nature, cannot be public. I intend to comply with this aspect of reality. I will no longer hand loaded guns to thugs.

Enjoyble
This will be my ‘good culture’ blog, where I share photographs, illustrations, music, web design, and other stuff that I like. I see little value in drawing attention to something that I do not like. Attention, in the form of links or posts, is extremely valuable on the web; I intend to lavish it on what is good and deny it to what is bad.

My taste can be summed up easily: I value innovation and craftsmanship. I also like things that are triumphant and sexy.

The Invisible Fist
In my lifetime, I intend to live in a country that is governed by a free market. Such a system has — I stress! — never existed. Any nation which mixes government and its economy is not free. All nations throughout history have not been free.

None of our problems can be blamed on the free market, just as nothing can be blamed on global peace. Humans have yet to achieve a free market.

The great hoax of our civilization is as follows. Government has teamed up with businesses to created a system of unchecked power, and persuaded the public that such a system is necessary.

I refer to this system as The Invisible Fist. On this site I will attempt to show why it is dangerous and I will advocate an alternative system.

I hope you enjoy reading my blogs!

Just what the internet needs, another Ron Paul supporter.  Can we stop pretending we’re all radical capitalists?  Because we’re not.   The government represents citizens, and that’s a good thing.
