Apple’s early adopter tax is a really fun way to reward their customers. Why is the new macbook air $1799 when the base macbook is $1099 and comes w/ a faster processor, an optical drive, and an ability to upgrade the RAM to 4GB?
All other stats remain the same, so is $700 worth 1 extra GB of ram and a slightly less heavier (-2lbs) weight? Plus, no apple remote, no optical drive, but oh wait, a Display Polish Cloth.
Whatever happened to apple focussing on a few solid products? I don’t even know how they are distinguishing air from the macbooks. Donkeys.
